Pollinator Celebration & Native Plant Market
Sunday May 31 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Join Wild About Saskatoon for a Pollinator Celebration and Native Plant Market at the Buena Vista School in Saskatoon! Seek advice from experienced native-plant gardeners. Enjoy refreshments and conversation with other bee-and-butterfly enthusiasts. Purchase bedding plants and seeds of native flowers and grasses from local suppliers, Blazing Star Wildflower Seed Co. and A Prairie Bouquet.
Event Features:
– Two native plant sellers: Blazing Star Wildflower Seed Company and A Prairie Bouquet – Native Plant Nursery
– An eco-fair of local environmental organizations (including a Swale Watcher’s table)
– Special guest Joseph Naytowhow
– Live music from Garage Band (With donations received going to the Swale Watchers!)
– Face painting
– Refreshments by donation
All ages. Everyone welcome. Event will be held rain or shine at the Buena Vista School Grounds (McPherson Ave between 5th and 6th Street East).

We offer both printed and PDF versions of these materials. Printed pamphlets are available in the box at the west entrance of the Northeast Swale during the warmer months. You can also pick them up for free at events we attend.
